About the event
City of La Joya will be planting Memorial Trees FREE of charge in honor of the city residents who passed away during 2023. This event will take place on April 26, 2024 at 6:00pm at the "Hope Park" (11th st & Vela Jackson).
Note: You must call 956.960.0757 to Reserve a Memorial Tree
Stop by La Joya City Hall (Public Utilities Dept.) to fill out a FREE application. All applications must be submitted by April 12, 2024.
A plaque may be purchased for a $100 fee, which includes a personalized plaque & a stone edging tree ring. Applications and payments must be made at the Public Utilities Dept.
Note: Trees that will be planted will be reserved exclusively for residents of La Joya and Havana.
